As a student most likely you will spend a lot of time in Microsoft Word, typing up assignments and papers. If you don’t have Microsoft Office (MS Office) installed on your personal laptop, as a student of SAIBT or CELUSA you can access Office365 for free with your UniSA username and password.

So what’s the difference between MS Office and Office365?

MS Office is the version typically installed and accessed on your PC or laptop while Office 365 is a cloud-based subscription to a suite of Office programs

Which programs does it include?

· OneDrive (cloud-based file storage)

· Word

· Excel

· PowerPoint

· Access

· Publisher

· Outlook

· OneNote

How do I access Office365?

You’ll need to go the UniSA website listed below, and follow the instructions provided. You will be request to enter your UniSA username and password. These are the ones you use to access computers at UniSA campuses.

If you have any problems accessing Office365 please contact UniSA IT Help Desk on (08) 8302 5000 or 1300 558 654.

Remember to back up your files locally on your laptop, on an external hard drive or in another cloud-based service. If you cease your studies at SAIBT or CELUSA before going to UniSA, or don’t complete your studies at UniSA you won’t be able to access OneDrive in Office 365 anymore.
