Need help finding a job?

StudyAdelaide invites all international students in Adelaide to join them for a series of employment workshops from the comfort of your home! CELUSA Student Leader Camila Gonzalez attended the Interview Skills Webinar in May 2020, as hosted by Elena Muller (Navitas Professional) and Sarah Parrington (StudyAdelaide). She told us what she thought:

First, the presenters discussed different types of interviews and then showed us an interview simulator (which SAIBT/CELUSA students can access on the UniSA Careerhub site). Next the presenters advised us to be careful about our body language and how to prepare for the interview. They gave advice about how to predict, prepare and present for the interview.

The workshop was useful because it taught me how I can improve my communicative skills to have a successful interview. As well, it taught me how I can prepare to get an interview in the future and to be more confident when I’m doing future interviews. On the other hand, I would have liked some more information about how is the structure of internships interviews and how we can find the companies to apply for job or internship according to our interests.
