10 Zoom Class Guidelines to get you going
Now that SAIBT & CELUSA have temporarily moved to online classes due to COVID-19, we’ve collated some tips to help make online classes and meetings run a little smoother.
If you follow these 10 guidelines, it should make every class easier for you, your classmates, and your lecturers:
1. Mute yourself when not speaking, don’t make distracting sounds
2. Be on time
3. Ensure your technology works beforehand
4. Wear appropriate clothing, don’t wear noisy jewellery
5. Frame the camera correctly
6. Have the right light
7. Look into the camera when speaking, keep body movements minimal
8. Eliminate distractions and pay attention
9. Don’t talk over each other, use the chat function to ask questions
10. Speak clearly, but don’t shout
